How Uncüth handles personal information for people who join early.
When you join Uncüth early, we collect the email you provide, whether you’re joining as a student or someone who can help, optional details you write in the form, an optional professional link, your age affirmation (16+ if joining as a student, 22+ if joining to mentor or contribute), whether you opted in to early-circle email updates, and a record of which privacy wording you saw and when. After you activate via the secure email link, we create or resume a normal Uncüth account tied to that verified email.
We use this to run your account, to send transactional messages (like sign-in links), to send community updates only if you opt in, and to understand who is joining early. We do not sell personal data.
On early-join pages we may also record first-party page visits (path and optional campaign / referral parameters) if you choose Accept analytics. We do not load third-party advertising or analytics trackers for this launch. See the cookie policy for categories and how to choose Essential only vs Accept analytics.
Uncüth currently processes and stores this information using Google Firebase / Google Cloud in
the United States (Firestore in multi-region nam5, application and file storage in us-central1). Transactional email is sent via Postmark. By joining, you understand
your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.
Students must be 16 or older; people joining to mentor or contribute must be 22 or older. If you believe we hold information about someone below those ages, contact us and we will delete it.
This information is visible only to authorised operators. It is not publicly listed. You can ask questions or request deletion via Contact us.
